Mobile game developer Supercell has announced plans to open a new studio in North America.
Supercell’s Ryan Wener will be the office’s general manager. Ryan Wener has been with the company for eight years and previously served as a marketing leader.
The company said it is currently looking for a core team of founders for its new studio.
“We’re building this new team to pursue a specific goal: to bring together the best talent in North America to create the future on any platform, not just on mobile,” Wener said.
Supercell; Helsinki is a video game company based in Finland and was founded in 2010. The game maker, who has removed dozens of his games in beta since 2010, is now famous for his games Clash of Clans, Hay Day, Boom Beach, Clash Royale and Brawl Stars.
In late 2012, the company began generating $2.4 million in daily revenue from Clash of Clans, making it one of the highest-paid companies of the year.
