Amazon acquired Twitch in 2014 and linked it to its colors. Twitch has some official Amazon accounts streaming, one of which is Prime Video España. This official Amazon Prime Video channel has made a debut and has been banned from Twitch; 🙂 This marks the first time in Twitch history that Amazon has banned an official channel. So in a way, they say the rules apply to everyone. Of course, it’s funny they can’t show their sensitivity in the lice scandal, that’s one thing.
This ban was not given as a result of any errors, the channel indeed intentionally violated Twitch’s broadcasting rules.
In the year-end episode of Esto Es Un Late, presenter and comedian Henar Álvarez said “we are after ban… Come on, they’re going to ban us,” he says, moving to lift his shirt, but one of the other panelists gets in his way. When Alvarez then does the same thing again, the broadcast is cut off. That’s probably why they got what they wanted.
It won’t be long before the network’s first penalty, but they did an interesting experiment.
