Valorant chief executive Joe Ziegler announced his departure from his position in Valoranton December 30th on Riot’s official website. Ziegler, who has been Valorant’s chief executive for eight years, is intrigued by which project Riot is working on. Riot is currently known to be working on a fighting game called Project L, a League of Legends MMO, and another project called Project F.

Ziegler continues:
“For 8 years, we worked on VALORANT and tried to give you the game you deserve, along with a lot of passionate and determined developers who produced the game from scratch. Now I entrust the title of Valorant chief executive to my dear friend Andy Ho.”
Ziegler’s statement says the following about the secret project he will be transitioning to:
“I’m moving on to a new project that will continue valorant’s extraordinary influence on the gaming world.”
Ziegler’s remarks suggest that Riot has already moved on to one of his “well-known” secret projects, but there are those who claim he has switched to a completely different project. Ziegler also said he would continue to give his best support to the development of the game, even if Valorant was leaving the team.
