Hidetaka Miyazaki, who has made a significant progress in the gaming industry by signing souls games, has made some statements about both Elden Ring and last year’s Demon’s Souls Remake. Miyazaki stated that he did not play Demon’s Souls, which was redeveloped exclusively by Bluepoint Games for PS5, but that the game put pressure on his own team.
Demon’s Souls graphics put pressure on Elden Ring team
In an interview with Edge Magazine, Miyazaki noted that graphics are important when developing games, but they are never first in line for them. “Graphics are not something we set a top priority. On the graphics side, what we want is for the game to depend on its own systems, requirements and other development elements to take less priority,” Miyazaki said of the Demon’s Souls Remake release.
“Demon’s Souls reminds me of many old feelings, many old memories, and it’s a little overwhelming for me. That’s why I didn’t play the remake of Demon’s Souls, but I’m really pleased to see that this new look has this brand new generation of graphics. This is an area where I always apologize a little bit to my graphics team because I know they work very hard. And they worked extremely Elden Ring. Our graphics team and programmers are pushing many new features to create the best-looking game we’ve ever done.”
” It is really fun for Bluepoint Games to come up with things that we don’t think about and approach some elements of the game, its visuals and mechanics in a way that we can’t or can’t go back to. It was really exciting and interesting for me to see them researching and applying these new thought processes and new techniques.”
