SEGA officially announced that the Yakuza series has received a lot of attention on the PC. A total of 2.8 million units have been confirmed sold, including the Like A Dragon and Kiwami versions of the game. Thus, SEGA proved once again that it made the right decision by moving the series to the PC.
If you recall, it took a long time for the series to arrive on PC. The game, which had a long-standing PlayStation monopoly, was also only available on Japanese soil, completely closing its doors to the west. In fact, it took almost 12 years for the highly anticipated Yakuza 3 to arrive on PC.
But now the series has opened its doors to both the west and PC users. According to SEGA’s official statements, PC gamers loved the series. Yakuza in particular: Like A Dragon is said to have charted a serious sale.
