Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment announced at a press conference that total sales of developer Sucker Punch Productions’ open-world samurai game Ghost of Tsushima exceeded eight million copies. The last time sales of the game were reported to have exceeded five million on November 12, 2020.
Ghost of Tsushima was first released for PlayStation 4 on July 17, 2020. Then, on August 20, 2021, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut was released for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
A Ghost of Tsushima, on the other hand, is currently in production.
