The Far Cry series, which has been criticized for its repeated repetition, has announced three new additional packages that will make it even more repetitive in response. In the first additional package, which strictly fits Vaas’s definition of insanity, we had the chance to look at things a little bit through Vaas’s tragic past as we tried to escape Vaas’s mind. Now, as far cry 4 escapes the mind of the iconic villain Pagan Min; we look at things from pagan’s frame, but there’s no attempt to empathize as much as Vaas. Because Pagan’s ego and alter ego don’t regret much of what he’s done in his past, he just wants to pin it on others.
That’s where Lakshmana Min comes in, perhaps the person Pagan cares about most in life. Lakshmana, who was murdered by Ajay’s father Mohan Ghale, the main character in Far Cry 4, before her second birthday, means a lot to her father. The key to Pagan’s insaneness is this murder again. So the empathy that vaas is trying to force you into is already catching up with you with a Max Payne-like story. You also hear Pagan Min;the name troy baker and the wonderful lines suddenly you start to listen to Pagan’s story from his side.
Why Face Mistakes When You Can Hide Them?
Pagan: Control, which is exactly the same as Vaas DLCsi as gameplay mechanics, is what’s different. Vaas was chosen as a more meaningful way for Pagan to collect knife parts. Pagan, who doesn’t regret what he did with his high ego and revenge ambition, needs to find three pieces of mask to escape his mind. What these masks symbolize is hiding errors. In fact, after each track, you come across a past scene, and if you’ve played Far Cry 4, you realize that some of these scenes don’t reflect reality. So Pagan has already set up a scenario in his own head that will change reality and justify himself. The internal conflicts that emerged from this difference were quite amusing, pagan’s constant confrontation with his alter ego Tyrant is one of the best consequences of this conflict.
Not just three pieces of mask, but also plenty of Pagan stories about pagan’s past. You can witness Pagan Min’s history with his daughter, himself, his father and his ex-lover Ishwari, especially in a series of tasks that are reset every time he dies and opens with the repair of the Pagan Min statue. So you can at least find stylish solace in the beautiful items and bonuses that fall off you when you die. Although having to do exactly the same thing after death leads you towards a fuss, I think you’ll understand that because you’re trying to escape the mind of a psychopath.
Respect +Rep
In the Vaas supplementary package, the currency that fell from enemies and crates was called Cash directly. Since money doesn’t mean much to Pagan, the currency we obtained in the same way has been renamed “respect”. But respect does the same with money. You spend it either to improve your weapons or yourself for your next attempt. So Pagan subconsciously bought the money respectfully. Or if he’s buying respect with money, I don’t know, pagan, and I’m confused trying to figure it out.
For those who love Far Cry 4, plenty of references are also hidden in the game. There’s a section in the game that references the mission of radio towers, which takes a lot of work, which makes me laugh. A radio that constantly spreads Pagan Min propaganda ultimately blows Pagan’s head and realizes there’s something wrong with it. When you climb a tower like the towers that Ajay and I climbed and turn off the radio, the game gives you a nice bonus, and the crates you’ll find when you climb the tower are another good part of the job.
Golden Path Hate
We see the names that have had a serious impact on Pagan Min’s life as end-of-chapter monsters in this additional package. In Far Cry 4, Yuma Lau, one of Ajay’s enemies, and, naturally, Mohan Ghale, present the toughest fights. It’s especially worth avoiding Yuma’s firearm as much as possible. The mask task, which depicts a time when the animosity between Pagan and Mohan, who are constantly struggling with the Golden Path, is exacerbated, is the best proof of what Pagan can do when he goes mad. At the end of the mission that begins with burning down the houses, we kill Mohan and get the mask piece. But at this point, Mohan and I are not done yet.
We killed Yuma Lau in Far Cry 4, with some hallucinations. His loss has led Pagan to a serious psychology of guilt. So much so that Pagan, looking for a way to hide even the biggest mistakes he’s ever made in his life, goes to Durgesh prison and confronts Yuma. After regaining yuma’s image of the powerful and glorious Pagan Min in her dream, it is Pagan’a beautiful therapy to relieve her conscience by killing Yuma one last time. Although we are not finished with Yuma, Pagan begins to look at yuma’s vision from a different perspective after his first killing.
In the Power You Seek, In It
Just as we’ve gathered the masks, we’re going to bring Pagan back to his dream happy family painting, and just like Vaas, one last big party awaits us. That’s where all the bosses of the game come to you in waves with their followers and want one last revenge. Tyrant’s in charge of all of them. Vaas’s madness with his sister returns here to Pagan’s own internal showdown, and the final fight takes place in a much narrower space. Again, just like the Vaas supplement pack, it’s up to you to beat everyone and go to a happy ending, but you can go on and follow another path. Ubisoft has asked you to play all the episodes over and over again and open new endings, but which one of us has such patience is a big question mark.
Now there’s one last additional package on the horizon where we’ll escape the subconscious of my favorite Far Cry character, Joseph “Father” Seed. Vaas didn’t satisfy me much, but I had more fun because Pagan Min had a much more fun and dark mind. All three additional packages announced with Father will be completed and will fill the Far Cry 6 mission.
