Deadline reported that Storm Reid was the newest caster selected for HBO’s The Last of Us series. Reid, who we know from Euphoria and recently starred in The Suicide Squad, will play Riley in the series.
Riley is Ellie’s best friend at boarding school. We met him at The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC.
Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and Naughty Dog co-chairman Neil Druckmann co-wrote the series
Filming began in mid-2021 and production is expected to be completed by the middle of this year. The series, which is expected to focus on events in The Last of Us, will likely also feed off The Last of Us Part 2.
