Microsoft says the number of subscribers on its Xbox Game Pass service has reached 25 million. That’s an increase of about 39 percent from the previous year’s 18 million subscribers. Microsoft has not reported how many of these subscribers are on Xbox consoles or PCs.
Xbox Game Pass, which offers a large library of games to gamers in the form of a subscription service, was expected to increase by 48 percent. However, this figure could not be reached. Microsoft is committed to developing and advancing Xbox Game Pass, a common service for gamers.
Microsoft, meanwhile, announced yesterday that it will acquire Activision Blizzard. With this purchase, games from Activision Blizzard will be included in the Xbox Game Pass library.
