Shortly before the release of The Batman, we began to get sharper information about the film. The most interesting claim about The Batman, which will last about three hours, came from director Matt Reeves.
According to Reeves, The Batman is almost like a horror movie, and the thrillers are intense. Reeves, who resembled the Riddler as the bloodiest serial killer of the 1960s and 1970s, zodiac killer, wished he had made such a suggestion before it was announced that the film was PG-13. Because given the age limit, the dose of brutality and darkness drops a little, yet Batman is, after all, a detective story at its core. Reeves’s explanations are as follows:
I’m pleased that the Gordon-Batman duo’s importance has been emphasized because we’re going to see a young Bruce in the movie, and the moral compass may not be quite there yet. Gordon’s role here seems to be key, and it wouldn’t hurt to see some character development in a three-hour adventure. It’s also important to remember that Catwoman, who has a very different character than Batman, is also seriously involved, and we’re moving towards a very exciting Batman movie, no matter where you look at it. On March 4th, with The Batman, I believe we’re going to jump into that corrupt Gotham we miss; a cumburlop.
