Gaming publisher Apogee Entertainment has announced a $5 million investment from the eWTP Tech Innovation Fund.
The company said its fund would be used to staff and expand its business portfolio.
Apogee Entertainment, or Apogee Software, was founded in 1987 and has continued to develop and publish independent games over the years.
Last year, the company was reactivated, led by founder Scott Miller and longtime executive Terry Nagy.
“We really love Apogee’s proven track record of exploring new independent studios and nurturing their international success,” said eWTP partner CY Chen.
