Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is said to have been developed as a fully independent sequel to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series and will be released in 2023.
Yesterday, we reported on Bloomberg’s news that all three next Call of Duty games will be multi-platform and will be coming to Sony consoles, one of which was Warzone 2.
Warzone’s sequel won’t be connected to the original free-to-play battle royale game and will only be available for PC and next-generation consoles. “Warzone 2 is literally Warzone 2,” says Tom Henderson. “An entirely new game developed for better hardware”. Therefore, there will be no integration with the original game.
If the rumors are true, Warzone 2 may be the last Call of Duty game to be released on PlayStation platforms.
