There is no doubt that there are many players who want a new game to come to The Witcher series. But I’m not sure if that was the expected game announcement:) Still, there’s a new Game of The Witcher, and that’s a good thing, isn’t it:)
A new Gwent game is coming, IGN exclusively reported. Codenamed Project Golden Nekker, the game will debut in 2022. This new Gwent game will be a one-man game.
Gwent, the mini-game in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, soon became an independent game. Then there was the side game, The Witcher Tales: Thronebreaker, which received passing notes from gamers. Now he is preparing to sign another similar game CDPR:
Project Golden Nekker, developed to appeal to players who prefer a one-man game over a competitive Gwent game, follows in thronebreaker’s footsteps, but the developer team emphasizes that this is not a Witcher Tales game and that it is a different game. We don’t know yet what kind of story he’s going to come up with. But we can expect a detailed announcement soon.
Whether Golden Nekker can be as successful as Thronebreaker, we’ll get the answer before the end of the year, we’re on track.
