Boxed versions of Dying Light 2 have already arrived before the game’s official release date. Techland is asking players who have received Dying Light 2 to wait until February 4 to play the game.

Techland stated that the current version of the game is not fully completed and that the game will be updated with the first day patch.

“We found that some of you had access to Dying Light 2 copies before the release date (it’s already coming out this Friday, there’s only 3 days left!). We understand that you are looking forward to starting to travel city as soon as possible and we are very happy with that. But we’ll ask you to wait until February 4th, because the updates and fixes we’ve made in recent weeks will be patched on the first day. This will allow you to experience Dying Light 2 as it should be.”

Dying Light 2 will be released on Friday for PC, PS4, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series. Our examination of Yasin’s pen will meet you as soon as possible 🙂
