Sony’s Spider-Man; you Spider-Man Universe is getting weirder and weirder. Venom’s unexpected box office success will continue to expand with morbius, and a large number of Spidey characters will appear here. Of all the films announced and expected, there’s one that amazes me. We’re going to watch Madame Web live from the eyes of the world, and Sony is continuing its preparations without slowing down. According to the latest reports, negotiations have begun with Dakota Johnson for the lead role in the film.
Johnson, who we will also remember from Fifty Shades of Grey, is the first nominee for this historic role. Deadline reported that Sony officials had initial contact with the successful actress. Of course, things are going great for Sony right now. Their co-production with Disney, Spider-Man: No Way Home, upset box office records, and the disappointment of Venom 2 was also forgotten. Madame Web film may also be a door that will bring Sony closer to the MCU in terms of Multiverse.
However, despite all these possibilities, I am intrigued and excited to see a truly live Madame Web movie. The film, which still does not have an official release date, was written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. S.J. Clarkson is the director Sony has chosen for this historic film.
