Call of Duty and other popular games will continue to be available on PlayStation once the $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard ends, Microsoft president Bradford Lee Smith said in a blog post.
Smith added: “We were asked if popular content such as Call of Duty would continue to be available on the PlayStation console. At Microsoft, making this game and games exclusive to the Xbox console is nothing more than undermining players’ experiences.
To be clear, we will continue to roll out Call of Duty and other popular Activision Blizzard games on PlayStation. Players will still be able to enjoy their favorite productions. We have made a commitment to Sony beyond the agreement.
On the other hand, we intend to take similar steps to support Nintendo’s successful platform. We believe this is right for the industry, for the players and for our business.”
