Capcom is a company with very important gaming brands and has been continuously increasing its profitability for the last 5-6 years. It has hugely important franchises, from Monster Hunter to Resident Evil, Devil May Cry to Street Fighter, and adds new games from time to time, such as Pragmata, which is expected to debut next year. Capcom has launched a countdown page and pointed to a new announcement coming as it ends this week. This initially raised the question of whether there would be an additional content announcement for Resident Evil Village or an announcement regarding Resident Evil 4 Remake. But then a post on the Resident Evil Twitter account announced that they were going to make an announcement today. As a result, the possibility that the countdown may be related to another game has been strengthened.

One of the candidates mentioned in relation to the countdown is Street Fighter. Capcom Pro Tour Season Final 2021 will end on the same day, so it wouldn’t be surprising if there was a countdown to Street Fighter. Of course, the announcement could come from where we didn’t expect it, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
