FromSoftware’s new-breathed open-world role-playing game Elden Ring has finally debuted. The game attracted reactions due to performance issues, despite having high review scores. This was reflected in the Steam reviews.
Players who have enough systems on the PC said they had FPS and stuttering problems. It was reported that it was strongly filmed in receiving constant 60 FPS, and often the game dropped to 50-30 FPS. There were problems, especially in boss battles. There are also players who report that the system is stuck and thrown out of the game for 3-4 seconds in large-scale boss battles.
While Elden Ring’s open world and intriguing exploration element are the main factors in the game’s endearment, it upsets many players with its optimization. There are now over 31,000 user reviews on Steam. 60% of these reviews are positive.
Apart from optimization issues, the game’s open world, exploration element, diversity and difficulty of bosses were highly loved by gamers. Bandai Namco acknowledged Elden Ring’s performance issues and announced that improvements would be made as soon as possible.
