DONTNOD Entertainment announced in a press release that Vampyr has sold more than two million copies worldwide since its launch in June 2018. Vampyr was also available for free on the Epic Games Store with eight million downloads. This, together with the first Life is Strange, is DONTNOD’s biggest financial success to date.
DONTNOD Entertainment, on the other hand, acquired Twin Mirror IP from Bandai Namco in 2018, and its sales since the game’s launch in December 2020 have covered only 75 percent of its investment.
