Capcom announced that in 2022 it will release Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 biohazard for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. All three games will feature state-of-the-art features such as Ray Tracing and 3D audio. The PlayStation 5 version will also have tactile feedback and adaptive triggers.
Users with Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 7: biohazard on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series at no additional cost. PC users will also be offered updates at no cost.
Resident Evil 2 has been completely rebuilt for a deeper story experience. Resident Evil 3, which tells the story of S.T.A.R.S., was transferred to Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine and remastered. Likewise, Resident Evil 7 is supported by state-of-the-art features in biohazard.
