Asia’s popular DVO , Lost Ark, debuted in Western markets last month. The game, which debuted in G.Korea two years ago, had a large pool of players and we witnessed that it was met with great interest in western markets from day one.
Lost Ark gained 4.7 million new players in its first 3 days and managed to reach 10 million players in the newly opened markets before its first month, leaving the total number of players behind 20 million.
Lost Ark was the 5th game on Steam to surpass 1 million simultaneous players. In fact, it reached 1,325,305 simultaneous players, placing it in 2nd place on the list of games with the most simultaneous players ever, just behind PUBG. It is now the most popular game on Steam.
Long story short, Lost Ark seems to have met expectations. It’s a game that makes Amazon, which is a distributor in western markets, smile, I guess 🙂 Let’s see if he can continue his performance in the coming period.
