Trek to Yomi, one of the games that caught our attention during the State of Play broadcast, is a game that we have not mentioned much of until now. Since we didn’t know much about it, the idle production appeared during today’s State of Play broadcast. When we watched the trailer, we decided that the game should remain in our pursuit.
Bloody sword battles await us with Trek to Yomi
Developed by Shadow Warrior producer Flying Wild Hog, it’s an action game modeled after classic samurai movies, moving from a side camera angle. We took on the fantastical world of Trek to Yomi, in which we control a young swordsman who fights to protect his village and keep his promise to his dying master.
By the way, people aren’t the only threat. The production also features fantastical world elements and shows other supernatural elements such as ghost warriors, swamp creatures and portals.
Starting with a very bloody sword battle, the trailer continues these bloody battles in the later stages. The production, prepared in black and white, added a distinct feel to the game.
Trek to Yomi will be released on PlayStation, Xbox and PC this spring.
