Youtuber LilAggy Elden Ring has managed to break the speedrun record – for now. LilAggy cleverly used various methods in the game to finish Elden Ring in less than an hour, despite dying 5 times.
While most players prefer to play Elden Ring, one of Steam’s most anticipated games, slowly exploring its world, speedrun is something we encounter in every game.
Elden Ring speedrun record under 1 hour
Among the tactics used by Youtuber and broadcaster LilAggy is that 12 minutes after starting the game, he deliberately dies from enemies in the game to a certain version of Virgin Abductor and transports himself to Volcano Manor. LilAggy also used some jump methods that FromSoftware added to the game but were not expected for players to use.
LilAggy died in certain areas five times during the game, prompting the game to start it in its final location. In the latest stage, Farum was born in azula territory and progressed to the end of the game. LilAggy started the game with Samurai, then switched to the Icerit Hatchet class, which he attributed to his serious advantage in boss battles:
” The damage suffered by the Icerit Hatchet has been greatly advantageous in boss battles, as it increases depending on how powerful your weapons are, not your stadium values.”
Update: While this story was being prepared, we learned that this record was also broken during the day, with Youtube user Distortion2 finishing the game in 49 minutes:
