Fans were overjoyed when the trailer for season three of The Boys arrived after a long wait. The new season of The Boys, which will return to screens after a nearly two-year hiatus, will again see plenty of brutality and eccentricity. Karl Urban, who plays billy butcher, one of the stars of the show, recently announced perhaps by mistake the great news. The Boys will return for season 4! I hope Amazon Prime Video knows about this.
“I’m going to be shooting The Boys by the end of this year,” Urban said in an interview with series creator Eric Kripke and other cast, unofficially confirming season four. Urban’s statement is probably an explanation that has been missed, but it’s still a very gratifying mistake, as there hasn’t even been an official announcement from Amazon yet. Filming will continue until the end of this year, so hopefully it won’t be for that long between season three and season four. Butcher and I really miss the team, and on July 3rd the ruckman will continue to be more violent than he left off.
