Square Enix announced in a post on Twitter that it had donated $500,000 to provide humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people. The money goes to the United Nations Office for Refugees.
Square Enix added: “We sincerely hope that peace will be restored and that those affected by the crisis will regain normal life as soon as possible.”

On the other hand, many gaming companies are donating money to humanitarian organizations, as well as removing games for sale in Russia and Belarus. In this context, CD Projekt Red suspended all digital and physical sales of its games in Russia and Belarus due to russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
