The new 1.0.3 Hand Ring patch is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. It also included patch notes detailing everything developer FromSoftware fine-tuned, fixed, and added to the game with the update.
New 1.0.3 Hand Ring patch fixes a lot of bugs
We don’t yet know the file size of the Elden Ring 1.0.3 patch. Patch notes are not very comprehensive, so the size of the patch may not be very high.

Inserted Items
- Added an icon and the function of saving the name of an NPC to the map when you encountered the NPC.
- Added NPC Jar-Bairn.
- Added new mission stages for NPCs: Diallos/ Nepheli Loux/ Kenneth Haight/ Gatekeeper Gostoc.
- Added some callable NPCs in more than one case.
- Increased the number of patterns of objects that the player can imitate when using Mimic’s Veil.
- Added night background music for some open spaces.
Resolved errors
- Fixed an issue that prevented damage to NPCs called in some boss battles.
- Fixed an issue after the Boss battle that sometimes prevented the player from receiving items.
- Fixed an issue where dialog was skipped while talking to NPCs and using private key configurations.
- Fixed an issue that caused the player to freeze while driving.
- Fixed an issue where arcane was scaled incorrectly for some weapons.
- In cases where the player could not obtain more than 2 talisman sacs, an amule pouch was added to the Twin Maiden Husks store.
- Fixed an issue at the end of the game that prevented the user from switching from the map to Sites of Grace.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the player from moving to the next field after the battle with the Fire Giant.
- Fixed an issue where some weapons would scale incorrectly after being strengthened.
- Fixed an issue where some weapons did not use stadium scaling.
- Fixed hangs in certain situations.
- Fixed an issue that misrepresented the multiplayer limit when playing online.
- Fixed an issue that allowed the player to activate Erdtree Greatshield’s weapon skill without sucking an attack using a special combination of element and spell.
- Fixed an issue where Fire’s Deadly Sin spell had a different effect.
- Fixed an issue where damage retrofit related to Ash of War, Determination and Royal Knight’s Resolve would apply to other weapons that did not have this capability.
- The visual effect of the invisibility spell has been adjusted.
- The Ragged armor set, which was obtained by mistake in the previous patch, was deleted from the game.
- Fixed an issue where some enemy NPCs dropped the Furlcalling Finger Remedy.
- Fixed an error that in some cases caused the wrong sound effect to play.
- Fixed an issue where visual animation and hitboxes were not displayed correctly on some maps.
- Fixed errors that cause false visual and behavior for some enemies.
Balance Changes
- For some enemies, Smithing Stone’s fall rate has been increased.
- Smithing Stone was added to some early game shops.
- Increased effectiveness of the shield.
- Damage to the broken items has been increased.
- Increased damage to the following items: Spark Aromatic/Poison Spraymist.
- Increased the duration of action of the following items: Uplifting Aromatic/ Ironjar Aromatic.
- Increased HP optimization for Torrent when using the following items: Rowa Raisin/ Sweet Raisin/ Frozen Raisin
- Reduced FP consumption and increased damage from the following spells: Glintstone Cometshard/ Comet/ Night Comet
- Increased damage to the following spells: Gravity Well/ Collapsing Stars/ Crystal Barrage
- Reduced FP consumption of the following spells: Star Shower/ Rock Blaster/ Gavel of Haima/ Founding Rain of Stars/ Stars of Ruin/Greatblade Phalanx/Magic Downpour/ Loretta’s Greatbow/ Loretta’s Mastery/ Carian Greatsword/ Carian Piercer/ Shard Spiral
- Increased shell speed and Great Glintstone Shard range
- Ash of War, Hoarfrost Stomp’s damage reduced and usage time increased.
- Increased Ash of War, Bloody Slash’s self-inflicted damage slightly reduces damage and increases uptime.
- Reduced weapon skill, damage to Sword of Night and Flame.
- Increased FP consumption and lower duration of Ash of War, Barricade Shield.
- The FP consumption timing of Ash of War, Prelate’s Charge has been changed.
- Mimic Tear Ash reduced the damage to the spirit called when using the item and changed the way the soul behaved.
