Fortnite’s season start, one of the most revenue-generating periods, is particularly notable for new battle tickets and cosmetics. Estimates suggest the aid package could reach several million dollars.
In addition, Xbox will share revenues from its in-house Fortnite app. Microsoft announced in a statement that it would support Epic’s decision, adding that all future revenues will be shared with the relief funds on the specified dates.
