Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Haven Entertainment Studios, a Montreal-based development firm founded by Jade Raymond. The cost of the purchase was not disclosed.
Haven Entertainment Studios was first established in March 2021 with an investment from Sony Interactive Entertainment. He worked on some of the most popular games and series in the gaming world for over a decade. Haven Entertainment, a collection of game creators with this experience, currently has over 60 employees.
The studio is currently working on a new live service experience for PlayStation built on a systematic and evolving world that focuses on elements of freedom, excitement and entertainment.
