The new update to Lost Ark will bring with it a significant change in Steam accounts. With the upcoming update later today, accounts that do not receive “trusted” status via Steam will not be able to access Lost Ark. The developer team aims to solve the bot problem with this update.
We’ve shared with you before that Lost Ark is a serious bot problem. So the developers will have made a critical move to avoid this problem. As you know, your account remains restricted unless you shop on Steam. This was already Valve’s system for preventing fraud.
A similar system will now be used by Lost Ark. With the weekly update of the game, players with limited accounts will not be able to enter trades. Nor will they be able to send in-game gifts, nor will they be able to convert Royal Crystal items into gold. That way, your boat accounts will be out of touch with the world.
