Family package coming for Xbox Game Pass
Microsoft is preparing to offer a family package for its Xbox Game Pass service, according to a report by Windows Central. It was stated that this planning will be introduced in 2022 and will be activated again later this year. In the same report, there were some questions about how microsoft had long wanted to create a Family Plan, but how to distribute royalties and share fees from third-party publishers. Looks like Microsoft is about to complete all this planning.
The Family Plan will reportedly use Microsoft’s Family Account system, which is already in effect for Office 365, and up to five players in the same country can share the entire library in a single Xbox Game Pass Family Plan subscription. Of course, there will be higher pricing than a personal Xbox Game Pass subscription, but when five people benefit, we’ll have a more advantageous payment plan.
On the other hand, it is not yet clear whether a similar plan will be implemented for the PC Game Pass system.
