Jeff Ross, director of the survival zombie action game Days Gone, announced that he has joined Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics as Design Director. Ross explained the situation via Twitter.
Ross said in the post: “I am excited to announce that I have started my business as Design Director at Crystal Dynamics. The new project as well as the team of really great people. I can’t say anything but express my excitement.”
I’m excited to announce I’m now working at the amazing Crystal Dynamics as Design Director. That’s all I can say is that I’m thrilled with the project, and especially the team of really wonderful people.

Ross and writer John Garvin left Days Gone studio Sony Bend in December 2020. Crystal Dynamics, meanwhile, announced this week that a new Tomb Raider game is in development, with the Unreal Engine 5 engine.
