With the potential of The Witcher Saga Unreal Engine 5, it plans to design an open world at an unprecedented level. CdPR, which has a decent introduction to open world logic with Cyberpunk 2077 , can be expected to use Epic Games’ game engine to its limit.
The Witcher Saga plans to push the boundaries of the open world with unreal engine 5 support
CDPR Production President Pawel Zawodny explained:
” The reason we turned to Unreal Engine 5 was because we wanted to make the game an open world. With our new page, we want to increase our experience in creating an open world and use the power of this game engine offered by Epic Games to the fullest. Working with Epic Games, we aim to create something extraordinary.”
Jakub Knapik, artistic director of CD Projekt Red, said that Unreal Engine 5 comes with a lot of exciting features because Epic Games collaborates with other game studios:
” Since Unreal is used by different teams around the world, the design of the game engine is quite variable and bendable. This will make our job a lot easier because we can also be inspired by what other producers have uncovered,” he said.
