Mitchriz finished Elden Ring in 12 minutes. Taking advantage of some of the looping gaps in the game, a player who used a “zip error” in recent weeks after Elden Ring finished in 29 minutes finished the game in 19 minutes.
Players who can use the bug, which also depends on the player’s hardware, to their advantage, can skip a very large part of the map.
Elden finished Ring in 12 minutes, only one boss cut
Mitchriz, who had completely skipped the Limgrave and Farum Azula areas, picked up Icerind Axe when he arrived in Liurnia and headed for the door to the endgame zone. In previous speedruns, players were supposed to fight bosses after this stage, but the broadcaster managed to bypass the content up to this stage by pressing W at the right time, and managed to “jump” twice more.
Mitchriz, who jumped to the front of the door before the game’s final boss battle, once again “jumped” to the end of the map so he didn’t even have to play his last boss fight. However, he didn’t take all the “Remembrances” that he said cut the bosses, and of course he “passed” the game’s final cinematic.
Elden Ring’s latest patch was similar, aimed at fixing bugs that allow bosses or gamers to jump freely, but we’ll see how long speedrun lovers can find game deficits.
