Blizzard confirmed that World of Warcraft’s new expansion will be announced next week and shared the full day and time. Accordingly, the announcement broadcast will start on April 19 at 19:00 Turkish time.
Last week it was revealed that dragonflight references appeared in the source files of the World of Warcraft site, meaning Blizzard accidentally revealed these references. There were even references to the dragonflight.blizzard.com page in the files on the site, but this page is not yet active. So all the signs are that the new package is called Dragonflight.
World of Warcraft has entered a period of serious decline, especially with the last two expansion packs, and Dragonflight may be the last chance to get out of this period. The players have seriously lost interest in the game, and the inconsistencies and inadequacies of the story have received enough criticism. Adding to the scandals involving Activision Blizzard, it is possible to say that Blizzard’s image in the eyes of the players has been greatly damaged.
