We couldn’t watch Bat-Family, one of DC’s touchstone families, on screen. Although the Titans and CW series brought family members to the screen, fans had far bigger dreams. Following the success of The Batman, the bat family begins to spread as a film. Batgirl, which will be part of the DCEU, is in full swing. The wonderful Gotham atmosphere and detective air created by The Batman also inspired Batgirl.

The film’s lead, Leslie Grace, explained the story;

“I can tell you that I’m not going to be able to do that One of my favorite things about the script is that at the heart of the story and the film we have, Babs and his alter ego Batgirl, we’ll see him faltering in the course of life. A character between good and evil, black and white and so much. At the end of the day, there’s got to be a case in Gotham, right? The story we have is a bit of an investigative one. It’s a detective script, Batgirl, and he’s got a case, and it’s driving him into crazy situations. Babs will find himself in a lot of difficulty and will struggle to get out of these situations. I mean, we’re going to see Babs grow up from his perspective, and I really like it. It’s like seeing the origin story of all your favorite superheroes and then seeing them as adults.”

I think Batman will have a lot of roles as a mentor in leslie grace’s emergence from the difficult situations she’s talking about. Especially considering that the Batman we have is an old Batsy played by Michael Keaton, a story with a lot of potential. Batgirl, which will skip theaters and air on HBO Max, has no official release date yet. However, the film is certain to be unveiled this year.
