Although Larian Studios initially hoped that Baldur;s Gate 3 would be released early in 2022, things have completely changed. We’ve been predicting for some time that the game won’t make it to this year, but that’s now confirmed by Larian Studios.
Baldur;s Gate 3 will be released in 2023 if there is no mishap.
Larian’s “The Journey So Far” video touched on the changes that Baldur;s Gate 3 has undergone so far, as well as the release date.
“Join us with early access on our journey to Baldur;s Gate 3; or we’ll see you when the game comes out in 2023,” the video says.
We already knew that Larian Studios wouldn’t release it unless it was fully ingrained in the game, and the general consensus was that the game would be released in 2023. At least it’s better than nothing if we have a clearer date.
