Elden Ring PC performance difficulties still persist. When the game was first released , The Hand Ring steam reviews revealed that players had mixed feelings. While the game’s positive reviews at the time were around 60 percent, 40 percent mentioned performance issues.
Hand-delivered Ring PC performance is still far from ideal
The 1.04 patch they released last Tuesday came with balance adjustments for weapons and spells, strengthening for gun ashes and a raft of bug fixes. However, the patch has not been very successful in fixing the performance problems that PC users have been experiencing for a long time.
Since the game was released on February 24, FromSoftware has not even disclosed when Elden Ring will fix performance issues on the PC platform, or if they have any such efforts. The producers acknowledged that after the game was released, there were “errors” on the PC that prevented the game from playing properly under certain conditions. Common performance problems experienced by PC gamers include the game experiencing FPS drops and crashes, even on very good systems. Pc gamer was also disappointed that the game automatically remained stable to 60 FPS and lacked ultra-screen support.
