Developer Room 8 Group has announced it will buy art company PUGA Studios.
The Brazil-based team provided production services for companies such as Gearbox software, Jam City and Kwalee.
With the acquisition, Room 8 says it plans to continue expanding into global markets.
“PUGA’s addition to Room 8 Group is another step forward in our ongoing global expansion, including offices, teams and service offerings,” room 8 president Sviatoslav Pohrebnoi said.
In addition, last month the company acquired the art studio Massive Black and opened new office locations in Spain, Romania, Poland and Serbia throughout February.
