National footballer Merih Demiral’s electronic sports team Team Demiral announced on social media that VALORANT operations had stopped indefinitely. The reason is the uncertainty of the tournament, league calendar and prize system. Team Demiral withdrew from the VALORANT esports scene for the same reason as the decision to stop the operation that started with Surreal Esports and then continued with Kafalar Esports.
Team Demiral’s announcement;
“Dear followers; As you know, as Team Demiral Esports team, we were taking part in the VALORANT adventure by taking on the character who aspired to success from the first day we stepped into our dreams. Unfortunately, we have to inform you that we will not be available for a while in this adventure, which lasts about 6 months.
With the success we achieved in the first VALORANT organization we participated in in December, we have been working as a whole team for 6 months in order to achieve even better successes; Unfortunately, we have taken such a decision due to the fact that it is attached to the needle thread, so to speak, due to the sparseness of the tournament and league calendar and the fact that problems such as the uncertain prize system still exist.
From the first day we set out in our dreams, we owe thanks to all the players, coaches and teammates we have traveled with for their efforts. We wish success in the careers of our entire team who have worked for this dream.
See you in the good times when we are involved in this adventure, in the hope of solving these problems that many teams have experienced as common denominators…”
