Broadcaster Bandai Namco announced that Tales of Luminaria will cease service on July 19th. The role-playing game developed by COLOPL was first released on November 4, 2021 for Android via iOS and Google Play through the App Store.
As for the game’s closure, Bandai Namco reported: “We set out to make the first original mobile game in the Tales of series fun. We tried to overcome various challenges. We have struggled to reach a wider audience not only in Japan but around the world. But in the end, we didn’t get the result we wanted.
We tried our best. We would like to thank you for your supportive comments and feedback on social media. We sincerely apologize to all those who supported and played Tales of Luminaria.”
