Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of the Madness, which opens the doors of parallel universes within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is also a precursor to new characters. Naturally, while we’ve been focusing on the X-Men and Fantastic Four we’ve been waiting for for so long, the MCU has other expansion plans. One of them is the character Clea. We can watch Clea, which we see in the film’s post-credits scene, much more actively in the future. The character, played by veteran actress Charlize Theron, will apparently be the MCU’s go-to for a while.
Born Dormammu’s brother Umar and The Dark Dimension’s prince Orini, Clea is actually a very deep-rooted character. In fact, his name came up before the first Doctor Strange movie. Stephen Strange’s greatest love, Clea Strange; and his teenage years were spent as dormammu’s servants. Doctor Strange, who defeated Dormammu at the MCU, had never met Clea. However, the pair, who cross paths as a result of the concentience of the universes in the post-credits scene, may also star in a new love story in the future.
Charlize Theron, who introduced the character with a “Meet Clea” post on her Instagram account, also seems happy to be logging into the MCU. We know that Dr. Strange’s actor Benedict Cumberbatch is going to be taking a break from acting for a while, so if we’re going to see Clea anytime soon, it’s not going to be a Doctor Strange collaboration. We don’t have much data on the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of the character yet, but the fact that Charlize Theron will be portraying it may mean there won’t be a small role. Let’s see what kind of Clea portrait the MCU will look like in the future.
