Although we are looking forward to the first video and gameplay details, Alan Wake 2 has started to appear with its visuals. Remedy Entertainment released a few concept studies as well as providing little information about the development phase of the game in a video.

In the video posted on the company’s official Youtube account, we see that some images have been posted in addition to the details of the development process and announcement period of the game. Sam Lake, our lemon-faced producer, who we can call the boss of the business, shared developments about the company, including the production process, with Ilkka Villi and Matthew Porretta. When we look at the published concept designs of the game, we see that the dark intonation expected as the atmosphere remains exactly the same. When the announcement was made at The Game Awards 2021 ceremony, Sam Lake said the atmosphere of the game would be much darker.
In this video, he stated that everything was going well and said that they would not give any information about the game this summer. Sam Lake’s descriptions and the published concept images of the game, which is expected to be released in 2023, are as follows;
“Most of the game is playable. But we have been talking for the last few months and decided that we will not show anything big this summer. We want to make sure we create the best possible experience, the best, first survival horror game for Remedy. We don’t want to take the team away from this focus to work on a demo right now.”
