Developer Laura Shigihara has announced that she will release the adventure game Rakuen for Switch and mobile devices in 2022. Rakuen was first released for PC via Steam on May 10, 2017.
Rakuen is an adventure game about a young boy who stays in a hospital. One day, the boy asks his mother to accompany him on his way to the fantasy world in his favorite storybook. In this way, he will be able to ask the Guardian of the Forest to fulfill a wish. In order to get his wish, the other patients in the hospital need to communicate with their other selves in the fantasy world and solve their problems.
