When GTA V was first introduced years ago, we all knew that the game would be a great success for Rockstar. But I’m sure none of us thought that GTA V would be the longest-running game in Rockstar history. This year is the 9th anniversary of the year. GTA V, which will come of age, still continues to sell.
According to the data shared by Take-Two at its financial meeting yesterday, on March 31, 2022, Grand Theft Auto V managed to sell 165 million copies. This means that the game has sold another 5 million copies in the last three months. Some new games don’t even beat this figure during their life cycles.
The entire GTA series managed to sell 375 million copies.
Another piece of success news comes from the age of cowboys. The developer, who announced that Red Dead Redemption II managed to sell 44 million units, said that the total sales of the series reached 67 million units.
With each new financial meeting, we understand once again why Rockstar is not in a hurry for GTA VI…
