It shouldn’t bother anyone to call Rainbow Six Siege “one of the most important tactical FPS on the market.” Rainbow Six Siege, one of the well-established games of the FPS genre, is one of the important pillars of the competitive FPS genre. But it seems that it is slowly becoming impossible for the genre to come up with new ideas.
Especially the new operator of R6 puts this cruel truth in our faces once again. Our new character named Sens can actually be described as the operator of the firsts for Siege. Sens, the first and only operator to carry 1-speed, 3-armor statistics even though it does not carry shields, is very reminiscent of Valorant’s Viper with its equipment.
This equipment, called ROU, seems to gain popularity in high-level games in the near future. Sens, who will be in the attack team, can open a smoke screen by rolling his device called ROU from the ground. This is very similar to the ability of the Viper from Valorant, as we mentioned above.
But there are many details that make this device called ROU special. For example, Sens can use this equipment exactly 3 times. This allows the operator to set up 3 different fog walls that he can keep open for 12 seconds. The areas higher than the ground in the movement zones of the wheels remain exposed. So with the right planning, you can even open a peek zone where you can see your enemies.
Sens will be added to the game with Operation Vector Glare starting on June 7.
