The servers of Dark Souls 3 are back on FromSoftware’s radar. Dark Souls went offline until the Hand-in-Hand Ring was released, with game servers expected to open shortly after the Hand-in-Hand Ring was released, but FromSoftware must have had no time to deal with the Dark Souls servers amid the Hand-in-Hand Ring chaos.
Dark Souls 3 servers back in FromSoftware’s focus
Earlier this month, a disclaimer shared an image that a Bandai Namco support team employee said they were aware of the issue. In a message to PCGamer, FromSoftware stated:
” We are currently working to reactivate the online servers of the PC version of Dark Souls. We plan to work sequentially for all 3 games and reopen the Dark Souls 3 servers after taking the necessary steps to resolve the issue.”
FromSoftware concluded the email with the words, “We will announce it as soon as the server renewal process is over.” FromSoftware hasn’t announced when server maintenance will be completed, but since it will be followed in order, it is conceivable that the Dark Souls 3 servers will be opened last. Still, the fact that Dark Souls 3 is the most popular among the top 3 Dark Souls games may lead to prioritizing the third game.
