The first gameplay trailer for Sonic Frontiers was released as a precursor to content such as gameplay videos and interviews with developers that IGN will share in June.
The game, which is expected to reach the last months of 2022, will be released for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch and will be one of the most ambitious games in the series.
In Sonic Frontiers, which will have an open-world episode design, we will fight enemies and explore all sides of the Starfall Islands. Takashi Iizuka, the head of Sonic Team, says that Sonic Frontiers will create a Sonic Adventure-like effect.
Another Sonic game, Sonic Origins, will be released on June 23.
