The eyes were turned to days gone;’s developer team after Jason Schreier of ;;in Days Gone wrote that plans for a sequel were not accepted by Sony.
According to John Garvin, creative director and author of Days Gone;
Garvin basically &:)
quot;
God of War;creator David Jaffe;;’s YouTube feed, Garvin, ” I see players saying ,; I bought the game on sale, I bought it through PS Plus and so on. What I’m trying to say is, if you don’t support the game when it’s out, don’t get up and say there’s no sequel. God of War sold millions in its release, while Days Gone couldn’t do it. I say all this in my personal opinion as a developer.”
Garvin also explains how angry he was about the massive pirate download of Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and in 2006, and once again says that players’ purchase of the game at full price directly supports developers.
Garvin and ‘s thoughts seemed a little pointless to me. No one has to buy the game on the day of the exit, they can take it later and like it and ask for a sequel. After all, everyone has that right. “You either get the game the day it comes out, or you shut up” the approach seems to have been said with a little too much anger.
