The new Silent Hill movie may come very soon, surprising many. The Silent Hill series was one of the most respected horror games in the gaming space with Resident Evil. As such, Hollywood wasted no time in adapting the series to the big screen. His first film grossed $100 million on a $50 million budget. Although the film didn’t make a big impact, the budget seemed to be enough for Hollywood to make a new film.
The director made some statements about the release date of the new Silent Hill film
A sequel was made 6 years after the last film of the series. This film was a critical financial bombshell. This situation eliminated the possibility of a new film. In 2020, Silent Hill director Christophe Gans said he was writing the script for a new entry into the series. Speaking to French magazine Jeuxvideo, Gans said that the new Silent Hill film could be released in 2023 and that he was trying to update it from the first film in the series. He even compared the series to the Twilight Zone, which could give you an idea of the genre of the movie Gans made.
As of now, there is no official announcement about who is in this film and when it will be released, but it seems that we will see the third film on the big screen in 2023 from Gans’ statement.
