Netflix has announced Castlevania: Nocturne, a new animated series based on Konami’s Castlevania series. The animated series will be streamed on Netflix. The release date has not been announced.
Castlevania: Nocturne follows Richter, a descendant of the Belmont family, who is popular in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. The animated series is directed by Kevin Kolde and creator/writer Clive Bradley.
A sequel to the original Castlevania series that lasted four seasons, Nocturne will focus on Richter, another important member of the Belmont family. A trailer for the new series has also been released. This short announcement trailer, which shows Richter’s back and profile, was supported by various dialogues.
The characters who will appear in Castlevania: Nocturne have not yet been announced. However, it is stated that the character of Maria Renard will take part in this series. Belmont and Renard have been characters in the series for a long time, including Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.
